But it’s the unique interpretation of tacos that truly showcases Churchill's culinary creativity. With choices like the Short Rib Tacos, elevating traditional flavors with fresh pico de gallo, and the Fish Tacos paired with a tropical mango pineapple salsa, there's a delightful explosion of flavors waiting to be discovered.
The overall ambiance complements the menu perfectly. Reviewers like Hayley A have raved about the open outdoor tent setup that provides a cozy yet refreshing dining experience. Furthermore, Churchill’s isn’t just about the food; it’s about the experience. “ I can't have dairy or meat. They kindly made my salad fully vegetarian. ”
“ Me and my friend went for Sunday brunch and sat outside. This was the only place in town that had OUTDOOR dining that wasn’t just an enclosed tent outdoors. This was in a tent but was open on 1 side fully and had good ventilation within with flaps open so air could circulate. The tent is also heated so you won’t get cold. The food here was great and well priced and the drinks were good too! Will definitely be returning! ”
“ Great place to eat. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was great, my burger was very fulfilling and there were ample portions. The waitress was refilling our coffee cups regularly. The music was fantastic giving us the great artists of the last half of the 20th century. Great place for luncheons for people 40 years and over. ”
“ I'm from London and came here one morning for breakfast, it was amazing. I would fly back here just for this Breakfast. Anyone coming to Rockville Centre or NY in general has to come here for a real American experience! ”
“ We had a reservation for 12 tonight 5/23/23 and more showed than we anticipated. Our server, and I’m sorry I don’t know her name, was excellent!! She was attentive, pleasant and polite and didn’t get flustered by the enlarged group! The food and entertainment were great but the service was top notch. Thank you for a wonderful evening spent with old friends from elementary school! You are to be commended for your staff that was tolerant as we lingered longer when they were trying to close the dining room. Thank you and Kudos to all of you! ”
“ Our group chose Churchill's to enjoy watching and betting the Kentucky Derby. We had the best time! The food was delicious and our server, Sean, went above and beyond to make sure our large group had perfect service and he took care of all our needs. Sean had an amazing upbeat personality, which puts him at the top of our BEST SERVER list! Mauricio, his manager, also was VERY accommodating and made us feel welcomed. What a fun place to watch the Derby! I actually won BEST Derby Hat which included very generous prizes ! Great food, great service, great fun! We highly recommend going to Churchill's for lunch, dinner or just drinks. You'll be glad you did! Thanks, Sean!! ”
“ This was a great restaurant, but if you need outdoor seating, you'd better have alternate plans, because if they get a large party, they'll move you indoors forcing you to cancel ”
“ A delightful spot awaits you at Churchill's in Rockville Centre. A charming and cozy pub, this place is hopping! Joe, the manager, keeps a good eye on customer needs and staff, making sure your wait is minimal, be it for a table, entree, or bar bite. They enjoy a busy bar scene here between the crowd, TV's and Happy Hour Specials, and yet despite the ambient noise, the dining area is intimate and has an English pub feel to it. The menu has many comfort food favorites like Nachos, Wings, Pizza, Mac & Cheese, and Fried Calamari, to name a few. We started with their famous Nachos. Chips topped with a heartwarming chili, melted cheddar, and a dollop of sour cream. I tried their French Onion Soup with Gruyere cheese, and it was so delicious! The broth is rich with lots of caramelized onions. For dinner, it was cheeseburgers and fresh tuna with rice and roasted vegetables. Both entrees were cooked to perfection. The seasoning and portions were generous. While we had little room to enjoy dessert, we did manage tea and coffee. A delightful meal and one we look forward to returning and repeating, especially while the decor includes tiny white twinkle lights and green, red, and silver Christmas balls hanging across the ceiling. Maybe next time we will try their brunch! ”
